Rage Winterchill downed on Thursday. Gruul, Mag, and 3 ZA bosses cleared on Sunday. A complete Karathon on Monday with no wipes. Yeah, I'd say it was a good week.

Last week's post was a little bit late so this one will be short. Hot off our success in SSC, we took out Gruul and Mag on Sunday and one shotted them both. With the remaining time a group went into ZA and cleared the first three bosses. We didn't get any timed chests, but considering we weren't sure we had the group makeup to even down one boss, we all agreed we did quite well. Grats to Kohal for being thrown to the wolves (we asked him to tank) and surviving. On Monday we took a group into Karazhan for some much needed gearing. Although many in the group were only adequately geared, and for some the bosses were new, we were able to down the remaining seven boss all within our raid time window, and some bosses died in record time. Two-healering ftw! Special thanks to Limo for taking on all three roles, dps/tank/heal, at different points in the evening.

We've been on a tear since taking down Hex Lord. Last Thursday we did our first joint raid with False Idols, and we took down HKM, Gruul, and Mag in record time. TanaKara was long but they took down all but two bosses on Saturday. Sunday night we cleaned up the rest of Kara. Then came Monday and ZA. We started out well, two bosses down and two timed chests. Lynx went down fairly well but we struggled a bit on Dragonhawk, as that boss blows. We did however manage to two shot Hex Lord which left just one boss in ZA. Tuesday night, after only four attempts, we downed Zul'jin to complete ZA. Let the Return of the Jedi after party begin!

But that my friends is not all. Last night, we ventured into SSC with False Idols. Hydross? Purged. Lurker Below? More like Loot Below. Trash? How about the most epicly bad trash pull ever. Leo? Well OK Leo sucked but it was late. :) Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen. Special thanks go to Tana and Larrix for stepping out. It's tough to have to cut people, but having our guildies handle it well is nice to see. Also thanks to Breg/Yugg and Booch/Snooch for raiding on their DPS toons. It's a huge group effort to make this happen, and we couldn't have done it without everyone chipping in.

Sun with rainy periods this week in raiding. We one shotted both Gruul and Mag this week for the first time. Congrats to Bizzara and her cube clicking posse. We managed two guild clears of Kara including a new guild time record on Curator(3m 7s) after an accidental pull. We tried to do 3 timed events this week in ZA but were cut short of the second with an unfortunate wipe but we still proceeded to down 3 of the 4 animal bosses.

Thanks to everyone for their time on Dragonhawk Monday night! Sulkar and I will look at what happened and see what we can do to change things up.

Mag goes down for the second week in a row. Congrats to everyone who attended. It still feels fairly amazing that we can take him down. We also did the 2nd chest timed event in ZA for the second week in a row. It's a shame there wasn't a hunter in the group for that gun. In addition, after a few tries previously, we finally downed Jan'alai for a guild first! Woot! Hex Lord is within our grasp, although that boss is rough. Too many abilites. All in all an excellent week in raiding. Everyone keep up the good work.

Edited: How could I forget? Tana organized a Saturday afternoon Kara run which I hear went quite well. Well done on that as well.

Last week we assembled a ZA group with the express purpose of completing the timed event. We succeeded on the first chest, and came very close to the second one. That in and of itself was a CP first. But this week, we took it further. We completed the first two timed events! Thanks to everyone who participated. Awesome job. A special congratulations to Mamaril on receiving Trollbane.
